Plain

About the project

A fork of Grigorii Moskalev's Plain editor for Windows and macOS. Documents remain ordinary files on disk, with reading, Markdown source editing and rich editing modes for the same document.

A folder view, quick open and full-text search help navigate local notes. Saving preserves encoding and line endings, restores drafts after a crash and warns before overwriting changes made outside the app.

Features

• Three views of one Markdown document
• Local folder library and search
• Draft recovery and careful file saving
